Terms & conditions Hotel Landhaus am Giessen, Vaduz

1. Basics
   These General Terms & Conditions (GTC) govern the legal relations between the guest and the hotel.The hotel’s terms and conditions as they stand at time of conclusion of contract apply exclusively.

   With the conclusion of contract the guest agrees to comply with Liechtenstein’s reporting requirements.

2. Contract objective / Applicability
   The contract about the letting of rooms is concluded upon written confirmation by the hotel resp. in case of bookings through the internet upon the booking confirmation by the guest.

3. Scope of service
   The scope of the contract is determined according to the booking placed by the guest.Services not utilized will not be refunded.Should there be no room available at the hotel despite a confirmed reservation the hotel is obligated to inform the guest immediately and offer a suitable equivalent in a hotel of equal or better category nearby.Any additional costs for the replacement hotel shall be borne by the hotel. In case of refusal of the replacement hotel by the guest any payments made by the guest up to this point have to be refunded immediately.

4. Rates / Payment obligations
   Prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) per night and room and include breakfast buffet, service, VAT (3.8%), accommodations tax (CHF 3.50 per person and night) as well as internet access (Wireless LAN). Statutory fees and taxes raised after conclusion of contract shall be borne by the guest.Depending upon agreement between the parties the hotel can require a 50% advance payment or full payment in advance. The advance payment is to be considered a partial payment to the agreed upon remuneration.

   Instead of advance payment the hotel may instead require a credit card guarantee.

5. Room reservation cancellation charges
   For a room reservation cancellation by the booking guest the following charges shall be applied:
   5.1 Single bookingCancellations are free of charge up to 3 days before the arrival date. Later cancellations will be charged with 100 percent of the price for the first night. No-shows will be charged the full price for the complete reservation.5.2 Group bookings

   Cancellation charges for group bookings can be found in the booking confirmation.

6. Arrival
   Our reception is staffed from Monday- Friday 7 – 11 am and 3 – 6 pm. Saturday and Sunday per request only.
   Check in:         Between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.

   Check out:      Until 10 a.m.

7. Stay / Smoking
   There is a total ban on smoking inside the hotel. Smoking is permitted on the balcony.

8. Insurance
   Insurance coverage for all materials brought in is always the obligation of the guest. The hotel may require confirmation of such insurance coverage before confirming a reservation.

9. Liability and contract law
   9.1 Hotel
   The hotel rejects liability for minor and medium negligence in accordance with legal possibilities and is only liable for intentional or grossly negligent damages.The hotel explicitly excludes liability, within the legal bounds, for minor and medium negligence and is only liable for damages through intentional or gross negligence. The hotel is not liable under any legal title for services that it procured for or recommended to the guest.
   9.2 Guest
   The guest is liable to the hotel for any and all damages and losses caused by them and their companions without the hotel needing to prove any fault by the guest.If the booking has been placed by a third party on behalf of the guest, the third party is liable to the hotel as joint and several debtor for all obligations arising from the contract.

10. Illness of a guest
    In case of an illness or inability to take action the hotel can arrange medical care without a request by the guest. Any cost for the medical care goes at the expense of the guest.

11. Pets
    Dogs are welcome in the hotel. The charge for a dog is CHF 10.00 per night.
